IQ2 Australia takes audience participation to a new level

In addition to the buzz of the live debates, now you can have your say virtually; explore the public's views; connect directly with other IQ2 audience members, speakers and writers; and post new topics for public discussion in multiple formats.

Offering a social network and more, this new website allows you to get involved by sharing your thoughts on a topic, considering others' ideas and exploring a range of complementary tools including posting new topics, polls and comments.

Here's how to get started:

• Register with the IQ2 Community
• You can use your own name or a pseudonym - this is important because whenever you respond to any Issue (or Post your own Issue) your name or pseudonym is published: honesty and transparency are the key principles in our Community
• You may like to read our Privacy Policy  
• Once signed in you can create a profile, add an avatar, find friends and create and join groups
• The site has a mosaic with rectangle images, which represent Issues to debate in 5 forms, either: a Discussion, a Poll, a Survey, a sharing Board, or a Think Screen Case
• On clicking respond, you can instantly engage with your chosen issue
• When you have considered your views and are ready to post them, these are immediately shared with other respondents
• Powerful filtering and benchmarking functions are then immediately available to all respondents
• Your results accumulate to give a progressively deeper understanding of your decision-making styles, and those of your friends
• Choose the event Issues to engage with the conumdrums raised by our live debates
• Choose EXAMPLE CASE or EXAMPLE SURVEY to get involved in thinking and discussion beyond our events
• Anyone can Post as many Issues of their own as they like in the 5 forms: a Discussion, a Poll, a Survey, a sharing Board, or a Think Screen Case
• Everyone gets ranking points: ethical thinking and fun make good companions

The IQ2 Community is powered by the Values Exchange. Values Exchanges are used in schools, universities, health care, business and the professions. If you are familiar with the online environment you will immediately be keen to explore all the features.
